Authentic Music Therapy Services - Providing Music Therapy Services for Children and their Families
 "Let's Make Music"

"Let's Make Music", is an original program designed by Daisy Arseneault, BMusTh.  It was developed to use music to assist parents in developing the tools that will foster flexibility, adaptability and creativity that parents need in today’s changing society.  It is especially designed to use music to facilitate in the bonding experience between parents & their children, develop increased self-esteem in both parents & children and empower parents in their parenting.  The Music Therapist plans to utilize music therapy based intervention techniques such as singing, playing instruments, songwriting/composing, dancing/moving to music and improvising experiences.  The focus of this program is the musical experiences.  The outcome of this program is the further development of the parent/child relationship.

"Let's Make Music" is specially designed to help you use music to encourage healthy physical, emotional and creative development.  Together with the therapist, you will experience music, create music and grow in your relationship with your child through music.

"Let's Make Music" welcomes premature developing children, typical/average developing children and mild to moderate special needs children (ages 0 - 5 yrs.) and their parents.

Participate in "Let's Make Music" privately with your family or with your "Mommy's group"!  I'm happy to make this work for you in your home environment!

Private Sessions

"Private Sessions" is an individualized approach to meet your families personal needs.  Typically these sessions can be held in the comfort of your own home but can also be met at a more neutral location.  With your input, the Music Therapist does an assessment of your families needs, then creates a treatment plan that includes goals and objectives.  After implementing the treatment plan, an evaluation of the process is provided to the family for future use.  Music is a tool to build healthy family relationships, encourage emotional expression and support families through their personal challenges.

"Private Sessions" can accommodate families with typical developing children, families raising a child/children with special needs, mental illness or other childhood illnesses, new or adoptive parents, foster families, families with multiples and grieving families.
